Sreedharan is on Board Kochi Metro

All confusion over the project has been cleared now and, the dream of Kerala Kochi Metro is all set to become a reality . The former Delhi Metro chief E. Sreedharan Thursday confirmed that he will be part of the proposed Rs.5,000 crore Kochi Metro and he would be able to finish the project within 3 years once the project was sanctioned . The work would be done by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Past few weeks there was talk that Sreedharan might back out of the project. But after the Chief Minster’s discussion with Sreedharan , the news confirmed that Sreedharan would be leader of this big project  . The Chief Minister  Oommen Chancdy was wanted him to complete the project in 3 years of period. This would  easy the traffic in Kochi. The track is to come up above the ground, supported by pillars.

      The Aryadan Mohammed, he would be the minister in charge of this project and E sreedharan would be the principal advisor . Also Sreedharan assured the state government that there would not be any problem to get loan from Japanese international Cooperation Agency without going for global tenders . Already the DMRC is implementing some of the infrastructure work connected with the project between Aluwye and Poonithura over a distance of about 30 km.

E Sreedharan is the man behind the successful Delhi Metro . He retired in 2011 after 16 years in the extremely successful project.

Twitter buy TweetDeck for $50 Million. The report comes just two months after UberMedia was rumored to have acquired the company for around $25. TweetDeck is an real time Adobe Air desktop application, it allows users to monitor the information from twitter and facebook. TweetDeck is currently only supported in the latest versions of the Chrome and Safari web browsers. And separate desktop apps are available for windows and Mac OS X. The services offered are, users would be able to customize the columns to arrange the feeds, manage multiple twitter accounts, scheduled tweets, notification sounds , notification popups , move the columns , link shortening , picture uploading , global filtering  etc.
